Sono davvero affascinato dalle parole del Prof. Rullani che ho avuto il piacere di ascoltare da formatore nelle aule di un’università che troppo sottovaluta l’economia della conoscenza e di conseguenza non valorizza gli elementi di spicco di tale tematica emergente perdendo, per l’ennesima volta, l’occasione di riallacciare le facoltà eccellenti e i discorsi di frontiera.

L’intelligenza tecnica è quella maggiormente dipendente da una continua, inarrestabile innovazione. La sperimentazione come modus operandi, in una civiltà evoluta dal punto di vista metafisico, è poco più che roba da ragazzini. Se abbiamo bisogno di innovare, sostanzialmente, è perchè non abbiamo conservato memoria della nostra funzione e necessità primaria. Non ho obiezioni peraltro, in un modo o nell’altro dobbiamo pur ritrovare una maturità sociale, etica, politica. La noia che le esibizioni tecniche mi procurano è pari alla mia indifferenza per le stesse. Più difficile misurarsi con il commento antropologico sulla ridefinizione dei linguaggi, più difficile misurarsi con l’ansia di affermazione altrui. Il mio interesse per la rete informativa, che in questo luogo sto utilizzando, è limitato al promemoria. Vero è che una speciale attitudine al mutuo soccorso è plausibile, ma gli antropologi della rete difettano soprattutto in buona fede, non sono perciò molto credibili fuori dagli stati uniti, e mi annoiano. Ciò su cui possiamo contare è ben altro che lo sproloquio intellettuale. Esiste una tradizione completa, quindi anche manuale ed emotiva, che gli ignoranti appesi ad una qualunque rete digitale possono solo sognare. Kevin Kelly, Stewart Brand, ma anche Chris Anderson e Howard Rheingold, per citare alcuni eroi della civiltà digitale, lo sanno bene e le loro priorità sono comprensibili e condivise da molte persone intelligenti che abitano quella rete. Ciò su cui possiamo contare è l’autorevolezza, fondata su principi universali, che la pratica umana autentica e continua consente. Senza, sono menzogne. [...]
