Le nuove tecnologie possono, non solo creare un altro livello per l’interazione, ma anche sospingere la partecipazione mancante in aula, abituando un po’ di più studenti e professori allo scambio interpersonale, ben più comune all’estero. Detto questo, va detto che l’equazione di partenza “università=apprendimento” è semplicemente sbagliata e porta a un errore di valutazione. Il punto non è e non può essere “l’apprendimento”, visto che si parla di un progetto che nasce dagli studenti e ovviamente la nostra priorità non è inventare nuove strategie di “apprendimento” (l’insegnamento orale è sopravvissuto alla scrittura, perché dovrebbe soccombere al web 2.0?). La didattica via streaming o via radio non è 2.0, è il vecchio 1.0 in versione high-tech. Ma l’università è altre cose e una di queste è la ricerca, o a un livello più basso la “pratica”. Pratica e ricerca senza dubbio RCF la sta già facendo, coinvolgendo gli studenti in attività che permettono di mettere a frutto le loro conoscenze, motivandoli e dando loro il pretesto e il coraggio d’intervistare un professore. la rete ha portato novità sostanziose. ha semplificato la vita a chi vuole lanciare progetti innovativi (gli esperti direbbero che ha ridotto i costi dell’azione collettiva) e ha reso più semplice l’accesso alle informazioni. le nuove associazioni 2.0 hanno - in alcuni casi - l’ambizione di discutere (e magari ripensare) i materiali di esami e/o interi corsi di laurea. senza google né wikipedia queste ambizioni erano di pochi studenti geniali. oggi il web ha molto democratizzato le possibilità di diventare imprenditori della cultura.
è vero, come osserva giancarlo, che alcune materie sono più favorite di altre in questo processo di migrazione in rete: discutere on line di internet marketing o ebusiness è più semplice che commentare i classici greci. eppure non escluderei a priori le possibilità che la rete mette a disposizione anche alle materie classiche: anzi, direi che proprio mondi molto “conservatori” avrebbero bisogno di studenti in grado di ripensare i modi in cui attualizzare l’accesso a alcuni saperi. perché non ricostruire in second life il foro romano per studiare storia antica? perché non immaginare un gioco di ruolo per ricostruire il mondo in cui dante scrive la divina commedia?
questi sì che mi sembrano progetti ambiziosi per studenti 2.0
